Try Dive (IDC)

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to dive, this taster session is for you. This three week course is for beginners and allows a taste of diving before commencing on the BSAC Ocean Diver course.

Want to experience being underwater?

The DSAC Introduction to diving course is a three week taster course for people who are not sure whether they want to take up diving but want to have a go. You will spend three sessions in the pool with a fully qualified BSAC instructor.

Entry Requirements

  • Age 14 (#)or above (Parent/Guardians consent required under 18)
  • Ability to swim 100m feestyle
  • Course Fee £20
  • IDC form completed, this can be done on the night or obtained beforehand from the club
  • #From aged 12 if family are club members
  • Mock Diver training in the pool

    Required gear

    Swimwear and towel.

    Recommended gear

    Although the diving equipment is provided, Ocean Diver trainees may wish to buy their own mask and snorkel. You may also wish to use a pool suit for added comfort during the pool lessons.
